Overwinningsplein

This small and cozy market is held on the square every Wednesday morning. Normally, the square is a large empty space, but the various stalls of the market make it bright and colorful. The market specializes in fresh goods, such as vegetables, fruit, flowers, fish and cheese.
Parking is possible in front of the shops and in the streets surrounding the mall. Also, the bus stops right on the doorstep.

Herring season

Herring season has begun!

Tuesday, the 8th of June, was the first day of the new herring season. The fish are not as fatty as last year, but that has not influenced their flavor since they are apparently very tasty.
