In the centre of Hoogkerk, in the car park of Albert Heijn, there is a market every Thursday afternoon. It is a small yet snug market with a divers assortment. You can eat some fish, buy some flowers and pick out some clothes at your leisure. There is of course also a well-supplied fruit stall and meat and cheese can also be bought. The stall with chicken specialties is in a league of its own. It has so much to offer, it’s hard to choose. You just can’t believe your eyes! The market is set up in a rectangle with a broad entrance on the street side. There is a lot of room between the stalls. You can park you car in the car park and the bus also stops close by. The market is perfectly accessible for people who are disabled.
