Herring season has begun!
Tuesday, the 8th of June, was the first day of the new herring season. The fish are not as fatty as last year, but that has not influenced their flavor since they are apparently very tasty.
What could be more enjoyable than going to the Grote Markt to savor one
of those new herrings as it sweetly slides down your throat. Add some
chopped onion if you like!
The fishmongers are ready to serve you, so come to the Grote Markt to
try some delicious new herring!!
